For example, each family are supposed to be has family tomb, and most of the Japanese are cremated and buried under the cemetery after death, so each family has to keep their family tomb from generation to generation, save a prayer to give a rest to the soul of the dead person in the \"other world\". Every parents expected children to be keep their family tomb and take care after their death, but the numbers offamily member in Japan getting decreasing, it makes difficult to keep their family tomb in the traditional way just like used be. On the other side, from the reason of freedom from family tomb, some womenargue with traditional ways of funeral and burial based upon the ideology of traditional family in Japan, and refuse to be buried in husband's family tomb. For them, \"Family tomb\" of husband represents some images of traditional family and reminds closed relationship of family used be, that is to say patriarchy. So, for Japanese bone is not merely bone, treatment of bone represents the way of thinking about life, family, and the existence life after the death.
