Seventeen studies about people living in areas  of  heavy snowfall were chosen and analyzed. As a result, the participants of these studies were adults, elderly people, persons that had undergone above the knee or below the knee amputation, and persons that had  suffered strokes. The following daily activities were found to be affected by living in areas  of  heavy  snowfall: [daily outdoor activities] [daily indoor activities] [natural disaster preparedness]. Five studies about people's support needs in areas  of  heavy snowfall were analyzed. These support needs were found to be affected by living in areas  of  heavy  snowfall [support needs associated with working in everyday life] and [support needs for a community medical care welfare system]. Many elderly people were surveyed, and the participants of these studies found it difficult to cope with inconveniences and burdens in life. The results of this study suggest that it is important to examine individuals, as well as the concrete support and practices for people living in areas of heavy snowfall while considering the degree  of  obstacles and their health
