The program' s three central tenets are (1) to be an 'open college' where anyone can participate in classes or lessons; (2) to be a 'virtual college' accessible over the Internet; (3) to be a provider of on—the—job training for nurses within their own work settings. The program supports the objective of Niigata College of Nursing to \"contribute to the community through the nurturing of human resources that well-qualified nurses represent.\nThis study focuses on the 'virtual college' aspect of the program. The goal of this study is to clarify the present status of this aspect of the program, evaluate it, and make recommendations for future improvements in program content to better meet the needs of the participants.
