Eight socialization anxiety items and 13 individuation anxiety items were administered to 514 undergraduates with four other scales relevant to indiviuation process in adolescence ; namely positive and negative anxiety scales ,private and public self-consciousness scales. Main results were as follows. 1) Referring to pattern of factor loadings,three factors were extracted ; factor of \"individuation anxiety\" (Fac. I ), factor of \"socialization anxiety (by surrounding others)\" (Fac. II), factor of \"socialization anxiety ( by following one's parents )\" (Fac.
