 note = {本学図書館では1995年9月より試験的に、学外者-の貸出サービスを開始した。その利用状況と利用者のニーズを知り、また全国の看護系図書館の学外開放状況を参考として、本学図書館の学外者サービスのあり方を検討した。 1995年9月から1996年12月までの貸出サービス利用者124人の一人平均貸出総数は4.7冊で、職種別では看護婦(士)が最も多く、一般学生や理学療法士、消防士などが少数だが含まれていた。貸出図書は看護総記、医学・薬学、臨床看護一般の順に多かった。アンケートの結果は、求める図書があった50%、求める図書が検索できた35.4%で、勤務する施設の図書整備を不満とする者93.9%であった。学外者-の貸出サービスを開始したことで、現在学内利用に支障はない。今回の調査で、利用者層の広がりや図書利用の要求の高さを再認識し、学内および学外の利用者にとって利便性の高い図書館を目指すことの必要性を確認した。, Niigata College of Nursing library has experimentally started lending books to users outside the college since September 1995. The purposes of this study is to discuss and develop library service for users outside the college. In order to discuss development, we investigated the utilization of our library service by the users outside the college and their needs concerning our library service. The situations of library services which are offered to users outside the universities and college of nursing in Japan were also researched. 124 users outside the college borrowed books out of our library from September 1995 to December 1996. One user borrowed 4.7 books on an average. Most of the users were nurses and the rest of them were students from other schools, a physiotherapist, and a fire fighter. The following headings of the classification were listed in order of number of the books loaded out by the users! general works of nursing, medicine, pharmacology, and clinical nursing. According to the statistical data of the result of questionnaire to the users, though 50% of users could borrow the books, 35.4% of them could find them in our library, 93.9% of them complained about the library that was in their own place of work. Wehave had no trouble in the internal use of our library service in spite of our library service for users outside. Through this investigation and discussion, we recognized that many different kinds of people outside are using our library, and confirmed that we have to make an effort to manage our library in a way convenient for users both outside and inside the college.},
